Teekay has been awarded several long-term contracts to ship LNG for major customers – and our skilled technical team is managing the construction of the next generation of Teekay LNG carriers.
These vessels are double-hulled, with tanks constructed of special cryogenic material to handle the extremely low temperature of the cargo. They are also equipped with emergency shutdown systems to maximize safety during loading and unloading operations. Optimized in propulsion, containment and size, Teekay LNG carriers are highly sophisticated vessels. |
